This role involves managing a portfolio of clients within the Edinburgh area in Corporate Banking, focusing on client acquisition, maintenance, relationship development, retention, and risk management.

* Deliver client-centric solutions for existing clients and prospects, collaborating across organization areas to meet their needs.
* Develop and manage customer transactions, support clients, and grow the business.
* Build external relationships to enhance Santander's reputation, including developing a professional advisor network.
* Utilize digital tools such as Salesforce, nCino, and digital onboarding to optimize processes.
What you’ll bring
* Deep understanding of the corporate banking sector and strong relationship management skills, including excellent communication.
* Knowledge of risk-return relationships and ability to support returns analysis on lending deals.
Preferred qualifications
* Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems and Office 365.
* Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and meet deadlines.
* Line management, coaching, and development experience.
* Existing relationships within the Edinburgh/East Scotland business community.
