:
You will work across various Criminal Justice settings based on service needs, including courts, probation offices, and prisons. Responsibilities include completing assessments, managing the prison release process, supporting individuals on probation, liaising with courts, and facilitating voluntary referrals from the police. You may also be involved in group facilitation.
Your specific functions and areas within Criminal Justice will be assigned according to service requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills and careful attention to detail in data recording.
Responsibilities:
 1. Deliver psychosocial interventions to reduce disengagement, reduce harm and associated criminality.
 2. Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral
 3. Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community
 4. Promoting carer, service user and community involvement
 5. Providing advocacy for access to partnership services
 6. Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination
What we are looking for:
 7. The ability to obtain and maintain MOJ vetting.
 8. Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field
 9. Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills
 10. Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
 11. Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
 12. Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders
 13. Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users
 14. Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards
 15. Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others
