FINANCE ASSISTANT (AAT Level 2 or 3 Apprenticeship depending on experience)
Grade: Apprenticeship salary usually based on age (possible salary match up to Grade 5 if in similar role but seeking qualification)
Salary range for apprenticeship £12,347 - £25,119 FTE £11,433- £23,259 Pro-rata
Work Pattern:Monday to Friday
Hours:37 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8.00 am – 4.00 pm, Friday8.00 am – 3.30 pm (there is some flexibility on hours), term time plus 3 weeks and 3 days per year
Holidays to be taken during school holidays
Fixed term for the duration of the apprenticeship
Contract:Fixed term for 15 months for the duration of the apprenticeship – there is a possibility, although not a guarantee, of an extension for a further apprenticeship or full time contract
Start date:Either as soon as available, up to mid-July latest start date
Location:Central Trust Offices, Burntwood, occasional travel to local Partner Academies

Primitas Learning Partnership has a new and an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our growing MAT. The Finance Assistant will join our central team in our new office in Burntwood. Given the educational values held by the Trust, the role has been created as an apprenticeship/ development/ learning opportunity where an AAT level 2 or 3 qualification can be achieved. The level of apprenticeship will depend on age/experience/qualifications of the candidate and could suit either a school or college leaver or even someone with some finance experience wanting to gain a formal qualification.
The Finance Assistant will support the Trust's financial and accounting functions.
The Finance Assistant will be an integral part of the central Trust finance team supporting them to maintain an efficient and accurate finance function. Most day to day transactions are input onto the central systems by the finance teams at individual Primitas Partner Academies. You will undertake, input and process the financial records for the Central Trust. You will be undertaking a range of financial administration and accounting tasks suited to the post holder's current level of training and development.
