Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial information to support decision-making. Proficiency in accounting software is essential, as well as a strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
Duties
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
* Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
* Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Proficient in the use of Sage and Xero for various accounting tasks.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in accounting software including Sage and Xero.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
