GROUP E-COMMERCE MANAGER

Are you a dynamic results driven individual passionate about Classic Cars?

Can you convey that passion into a Digital presence using your eCommerce skills and experience?

Our international marketing team is undergoing an exciting transformation — and we’re looking for exceptional talent to join us.

As we build a more digitally focused, data-driven marketing function, we’re investing in people who can build and own strategy and execution across the web, paid search, SEO, and social media – working closely with 3rd party agencies.

The E-Commerce Manager is a senior role accountable for developing and executing the end-to-end e-commerce strategy across the Car Parts Group and all digital sales channels, driving both online and in-store revenue growth within the Group’s retail and B2B channels internationally.

Reporting to the Managing Director and working with the Head of Sales & General Managers for each of the Group’s business units, this role owns omnichannel integration, blending digital acquisition with physical store footfall to deliver a seamless customer journey.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and revenue growth

· Manage and optimize the company's e-commerce platforms, including content

· Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention

· Manage all digital touchpoints in the market

· Manage email marketing platforms including automated email marketing such as abandoned cart and browser abandonment

· Craft compelling and persuasive email copy that resonates with our target audience

· Track and analyse campaign performance to identify areas for improvement

· Collaborate with product managers and the wider sales team to develop and execute effective promotional campaigns on platforms such as Bing Ads and Google Ads

· Design and implement loyalty programmes to encourage customer retention and repeat business

· Develop personalised marketing campaigns to engage existing customers and drive repeat purchases

· Produce weekly and monthly reports with clear actionable takeaways and recommendations for growth

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of e-commerce initiatives

· Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation in e-commerce operations

· Ensure compliance with legal requirements, such as data privacy regulations and consumer protection laws

· Liaise with web developers to implement necessary changes and updates

Skills:

· Proven experience as an E-commerce Manager or similar role

· In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and best practices

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

· Proficiency in web analytics tools, such as GA4, Google Search Console, AHRefs, etc.

· Expertise with using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes effective keyword placement.

· Familiarity with AI tools and their implementation.

· Good understanding of MS Office and knowledge of WordPress or e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce

· Excellent business knowledge and marketing acumen.

· Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

· Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

· Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

· You aren’t afraid to use your initiative and contribute ideas – no matter how ‘out there’ you think they might be!

If you are passionate about e-commerce and have a proven track record of driving online sales growth, we would love to hear from you.

This is an on-site role and the rewards include a competitive salary, workplace pension, access to a salary sacrifice car scheme, 25 days annual leave and the potential for equity options for the right candidate.
