Trainee Process Technician
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Trainee Process Technician for our reputable client based in Tewkesbury. Immediate starts are available following a successful interview process.
Our client is a well-established dairy company, known for its high standards in production and hygiene. This is a physically active role involving both indoor and outdoor work, with the opportunity to progress to a permanent position.
Your role as a Trainee Process Technician
1. Overseeing and facilitating the safe and hygienic loading/unloading of bulk dairy products
2. Cleaning silos and vessels, and organising silo plans to optimise storage and productivity
3. Liaising with tanker drivers and third parties to ensure efficient workflow
4. Operating machinery and equipment safely, in line with environmental and safety standards
5. Handling chemicals safely and complying with COSHH, HACCP, and company policies
6. Maintaining high hygiene standards in both personal and workplace practices
7. Supporting and mentoring team members as needed
8. Flexibly covering other roles as required by the business
Requirements
9. Physically fit and comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
10. Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards
11. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and third parties
12. Willingness to train and support other team members
13. Reliable and punctual
14. Available to work flexible shifts including weekends
Pay & Shifts
15. £14.54 per hour
16. Shift patterns include:
17. Weekdays: 05:00-13:00, 09:00-17:00, 13:00-Finish
18. Sundays: 06:00-Finish (typically 10-11 hour shifts)
19. You will be expected to work all of these shift patterns throughout your working week.
20. Sunday to Saturday shift rotation
