Job Summary
We are seeking versatile and skilled Multi Task Builders to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills across various trades, enabling them to contribute effectively to multiple projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to develop their expertise in diverse aspects of construction and building maintenance. The successful applicant will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and safety on all sites.
Responsibilities
* Perform carpentry work including framing, fitting, and finishing tasks.
* Carry out roofing repairs and installations with attention to detail and safety protocols.
* Conduct construction painting, ensuring surfaces are prepared and finished to specifications.
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with industry standards.
* Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing.
* Operate welding equipment for fabrication and repair purposes.
* Assist with electrical installations and troubleshooting where qualified.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
* Fabricate components on-site or in the workshop as required for various projects.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining safety standards.
Experience
* Proven experience in multiple trades including carpentry, roofing, painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Experience in fabrication processes is advantageous.
* Prior involvement in construction or building maintenance projects will be considered an asset.
* Ability to adapt quickly to different tasks and work environments is essential. This role is suitable for motivated individuals looking to expand their skills across a range of construction disciplines within a professional setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
