UCLH is seeking a 24-month fixed-term, 0.8 WTE Consultant in Public Health with a special interest in inclusion health. The appointee will work in our specialist Find&Treat team, participate in developing our research portfolio, and aim to enhance the service's national and international profile while delivering high-quality patient care.
The role is primarily office-based with some remote work opportunities. Participation in regional and national meetings is required to develop a national profile. The successful candidate will join our multidisciplinary inclusion health team and play a key role in service development, research, and education.

The post, working with the Find&Treat Clinical Director, will focus on improving health and wellbeing among inclusion health groups, especially concerning infectious disease services within a holistic care model. The candidate should have a solid understanding of inclusion health principles and public health expertise.
The post holder will be responsible for strategic objectives, act as a change agent, and may oversee services and budgets contributing to the strategic goals. They will influence policy and strategy at various levels, including surveillance programs, guidance, and academic publications to raise awareness and improve health outcomes.
Daily collaboration with clinical and non-clinical team members and multiagency stakeholders is expected. The candidate should be confident, independent, and pragmatic in problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.
