Head Door Supervisor The Dirty Onion Are you a confident, experienced leader with a strong presence and a passion for keeping people safe? Were looking for a Head Door Supervisor to lead our front-of-house security team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a professional security team to ensure a welcoming and secure environment for customers and staff. You will be responsible for managing the door team and scheduling shifts, entry procedures, dealing with incidents and maintaining a calm, controlled atmosphere throughout the venue at all times. Hours will be primarily evenings and weekends, with a minimum of 3 nights throughout the week. Key responsibilities: Oversee and co-ordinate the door team on shift. Scheduling shifts on the rota. Conduct ID and security checks in line with licencing laws and venue policies Liaise with management, bar staff, and local authorities where necessary Manage crowd control, conflict resolution, and customer welfare Complete incident reports and uphold venue policies at all times Be a visible and proactive presence on shift in the venue Training and orientation of new staff Essential Criteria: Must be in possession of an SIA Door Supervisor Licence Previous experience in a door supervisor or head door supervisor role.
