We are looking for a salaried GP working for our friendly, busy, town centre practice. The salaried GP is responsible for providing medical care and services to the practice population, managing a clinical caseload and dealing with a diverse range of health needs.
The position will be on an initial 12 month fixed term contract but will be reviewed thereafter.
Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
The salaried GP will:
Caring for patients: Practise evidence-based medicine, conduct patient consultations, undertake duty consultations, triage patients, and conduct telephone consultations and home visits as appropriate.
Communication with patients: Use appropriate communication methods, establish suitable communication channels, and anticipate and overcome barriers to communication.
Delivering high-quality services: Provide services to the highest possible standard, monitor and maintain the standard of care, and undertake clinical governance and clinical audit activities.
Person Specification
Essential:
* Fully qualified GP eligible to work in General Practice in the NHS.
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
* National Performers List Registration.
Desirable:
* Experience with SystmOne (or similar) clinical system.
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
UK Registration
Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
