Affinity Workforce is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cover Supervisor with a background in social sciences (Psychology, Criminology, Ethics or Sociology) to support the learning and well-being of children aged 11-16 years old. This role includes working with the class as a whole, ensuring needs are met while encouraging development and fostering a positive environment. This is a rewarding long-term role, as a relationship is established between the students and the supervisor. You Will Deliver and adapt learning activities for the whole class. Support students with their work and progress. Assist in the evaluation of student progress while feeding this back to the school. Provide an encouraging and calm environment for students to learn in. The Ideal Candidate Have experience working with children (Does not have to be within a school setting) Have a broad understanding of the education system. Understand safeguarding practices. Be capable of strong communication and have organisational skills. Will be calm, reliable, and committed to building positive relationships with the students they work with.
