Location: Glasgow Office, 16 Lawmoor Road, Glasgow, G5 0UL
Job type: Full-Time, Permanent | Hours: 39.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Salary: £25,880.40 per annum plus on-target earnings (up to £400 per month)
About The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced telesales executive to join Matthew Algie on a permanent full-time basis with fixed Monday - Friday shifts. The successful applicant will join a team responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of the Coffee Sales Managers by making high-quality sales calls to a variety of accounts to achieve sales targets. This will involve outbound calls from an agreed plan and selling the most relevant Matthew Algie products and services to existing and new customers.
Responsibilities
* Plan ahead of making calls, including completing customer checklists and reviewing account records.
* Make outbound calls in line with the call plan to a wide variety of customers.
* Support the Coffee Sales Managers.
* Investigate any service issues.
* Arrange call times / frequency to best suit the customers.
* Ensure order information is captured accurately.
* Schedule follow-up calls.
* Maintain all relevant administration to a high standard.
* Communicate all relevant information to the Coffee Sales Managers.
About You
To be considered for this position it is essential that you have relevant previous experience in a similar role such as telesales, telemarketing or prospecting professional. You should be a confident administrator with a track record of meeting targets in a KPI-driven sales environment, or have the right attitude to commit to this!
You will be educated to Standard Grade / GCSE or equivalent. You will be competent in all Microsoft Office packages and have a high level of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail. It would be beneficial to have skills in sales negotiation and cold calling.
