About the Role
Our industry-leading training and support client is recruiting an Aftermarket Car Technical Demonstrator to lead their team in the north of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
This role involves travel and overnight stays, so please only apply if you are willing to accommodate this. The position is based in the North of England.
Key Responsibilities
1. Scheduling visits and training sessions: contacting workshops to plan and agree on training times.
2. Preparing and delivering technical presentations in the field and classroom on products and training sessions for workshops, using a company car for transportation.
3. Implementing trade marketing initiatives to create demand and enhance recognition for premium brands.
4. Supporting installer surveys in the field on various topics as requested by Sales, Product, Marketing, or Engineering teams.
5. Providing technical advice, including support in installing and using DRiV products.
6. Building strong business relationships with clients and supporting a positive company image.
7. Updating and maintaining the client database, including field data and visit reports.
8. Identifying prospective new clients through distributive partners.
9. Optimizing travel routes to minimize costs.
10. Gathering feedback from end-users on services and product quality.
11. Researching trends and exploring innovative solutions for development.
Qualifications and Requirements
1. Strong practical knowledge of automotive parts, their components, and operation.
2. Ability to demonstrate installation and troubleshooting techniques for car repairs.
3. Knowledge of the auto parts market.
4. Excellent presentation, communication, and written skills.
5. Willingness to perform hands-on product demos and installations.
6. Valid Category B driving license.
7. Willingness to travel regularly within a designated region using a provided vehicle.
8. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Additional Information
Travel is required for this position. Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
Compensation
The salary is £38,000, with quarterly and annual bonuses, plus a company van.
