Job Title: Social Worker - Children's Services
📍 Location: Lancashire County Council
🕘 Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
💷 Pay Rate: Up to £36.00 per hour (Umbrella)
✨ About the Role:
Lancashire County Council is looking for an experienced and passionate Children's Social Worker to join their Children's Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and families 💙
📝 Key Responsibilities:
Carry out assessments, planning, and interventions to safeguard children and adolescents 🛡️
Manage a caseload in line with statutory requirements and best practice 📂
Work closely with families and multi-agency professionals 🤝
Complete high-quality reports and maintain accurate case records 🖊️
Attend meetings, reviews, and court work where required ⚖️
🎓 Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification
Registered with Social Work England ✅
Previous experience within Children's Services
Strong understanding of relevant legislation and procedures 📚
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment 🚀
