We currently have a vacancy for a qualified and self-motivated Physiotherapist to join our team in Campbeltown.
The successful applicant will have an interesting and varied caseload encompassing general inpatients in the GP-led community hospital and an outpatient caseload of predominantly musculoskeletal and cardiopulmonary patients. This post offers a great opportunity to develop clinical skills across all four pillars of practice in a small team environment without the need to specialize in one clinical area — variety is the key here. You will be supported by the team lead in Campbeltown and the professional lead based in Oban.
To succeed in this exciting and challenging role, you will have a degree or equivalent qualification as a physiotherapist, be HCPC registered, and demonstrate evidence of postgraduate learning across a broad spectrum of services. Experience in cardiac rehab would be advantageous but is not essential. Most importantly, you should have the ability to identify and seize opportunities to deliver outstanding physiotherapy services — innovators are very welcome to apply.
The base location, Campbeltown and the Kintyre peninsula, sit on the West Coast of Scotland, an area of outstanding natural beauty yet close to cities like Glasgow and Edinburgh. Argyll boasts over 3,500 km of stunning coastline and many inhabited and uninhabited islands. The area offers endless outdoor activity opportunities, and our family-oriented communities and excellent schools make it a great place to raise children.
