Finance & Administration Support Officer
Overview
The Governors of this Catholic high school are looking to appoint an experienced Finance & Administration Support Officer with the ability and skills to deliver a professional, effective and comprehensive support service in school. The role requires the successful candidate to process financial transactions such as purchase orders and invoices, compliance with financial regulations and management guidelines and monitoring of all school budget cost centres. The successful candidate will also be required to assist our busy school office by undertaking a number of administration duties including answering telephone calls and dealing with face to face enquiries from students and visitors.
The individual appointed to the role will need to be able to demonstrate experience of working within an office environment, the ability to undertake a range of clerical tasks and experience in the use of a range of ICT systems (i.e. Word & Excel). Experience of working within a school office environment and the use of Bromcom MIS and Finance systems would be beneficial, but not essential.
As a point of contact for all stakeholders in school, the successful candidate will be welcoming, personable, helpful and be able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner. It is also essential for the postholder to have the ability to work flexibly within a busy team, responding with a ‘can do’ approach, the capability to multi task and work well under pressure. If you would like to be part of our team driving sustainable change to create an environment where everyone flourishes, we would welcome the opportunity to consider an application from you.
