Overview
As a member of the Front office team, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth check in/out process. You will keep the Front Office Manager informed of relevant feedback from guests and other departments, maximise room occupancy and use up‑selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities. You will ensure constant compliance with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation. As an integral part of our hotel's operational team, you will offer support to colleagues across all areas of the business to ensure a first class guest experience. Responsibilities
* Interact with guests, colleagues and other stakeholders daily with excellent verbal and written communication to deliver effective customer service.
* Manage guest reservations, check guests in and out, and ensure the smooth flow of operations at the front desk with strong organizational skills.
* Be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy of guest information and bookings, avoiding mistakes that could lead to unhappy guests or lost revenue.
* Utilise basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet); experience with hotel management software such as Opera or Fidelio is advantageous.

* Communication skills: strong verbal and written communication to interact with guests, colleagues and stakeholders daily.
* Organisational skills: ability to manage reservations and front desk operations efficiently.
* Attention to detail: accuracy in guest information and bookings to protect guest satisfaction and revenue.
* Technical skills: basic computer proficiency; familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
