The successful candidate will encourage learners to explore topics such as human development, well-being, safeguarding, and the values that underpin quality care.
Teacher of Health & Social Care Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Health & Social Care, tailored to a range of learning abilities.
* Inspire students to understand real-world applications within the health, social, and care sectors.
* Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to promote growth.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold high standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements for a Teacher of Health & Social Care:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in Health & Social Care.
* Experience teaching or training within an educational or vocational setting.
* Excellent communication, empathy, and organisational skills.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
