ROLE: Design Lead (RF Modules)
LOCATION: Cambridge, England OR Den Bosch (s:Hertogenbosch), Netherlands

My client is looking for a Design lead for RF Modules to join their team. The company is a start:up and a fabless company with a mission to simplify RF Front End Architecture by means of their Tunable Duplexer that includes their adaptive passive cancelation technology. Their technology is used in connected wearables and mobile devices.
As a Design Lead your responsibilities will include:
-Responsible for ensuring RF modules meet all the company's specifications.
-Work with internal and external IC design teams who design integrated digital tunable capacitors, Power Amplifiers, Low Noise Amplifiers, RF switches, digital interfaces and power management solutions, etc.
-Integrate these design blocks on the company multi:chip module ensuring low loss, high performance implementations.
-Optimise layouts for size and performance.
-Work with the applications, systems, algorithm and software teams to optimise module performance in the application.
-Work with internal stakeholders and test teams to define and deliver the module test plan.
Skills and Qualifications:
-Previous experience in developing RF front end, power amplifier, WiFi, SAW or BAW modules or sub:systems for high volume production.
-Knowledge of low noise, low power, high linearity design techniques for 4G/5G RF front:end modules.
-Experienced with RF fundamentals, like impendence matching, Smith charts, passive RLC, filter designs (pole/zero analysis), linearity, harmonics, etc.
-Electronics PCB and circuit design experience and familiarity with standard interfaces such as MIPI RFFE would be an advantage.
-Experienced in using ADS, Microwave Office and similar simulation tools.
-Some experience in the use of RF test equipment such as Noise Meters, VNA, Spectrum Analyzer in execution of Gain, NF, IIP3, and Isolation measurements and troubleshooting.
