Role - Graduate Electrical Design Engineer
Salary - £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)
Type - Permanent
Location - Somerset
My client is in engineering and they are looking to take on a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to develop as part of their team.
The Junior / Electrical Design Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:
* NVQ/ HNC/ HND/ Degree qualification or similar ideally in Electrical Engineering
* Have knowledge of how to carry out electrical design
* Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks Electrical (but training can be given)
* Excellent problem-solving capabilities
* Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
* Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Junior / Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:
* Working within the existing engineering team
* Developing electrical schematics and also transferring legacy schematics and creating the parts lists
* Using CAD to create new components and cable types
* Creating the associated BOMs
* Liaising with customers when required
