Support Students to Thrive in Secondary Education
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Hastings, supporting students across the school to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education, enjoys working with young people, and is ready to start ASAP in a rewarding school-based role.
Responsibilities
* Supporting students in lessons across the secondary age range
* Working closely with teachers to deliver classroom learning
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support where needed
* Encouraging positive behaviour and student engagement
* Supporting students' emotional wellbeing and confidence
* Assisting with classroom preparation and daily school routines
* Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams
Training & Career Development
* Ongoing support and guidance from experienced school staff
* Opportunity to develop classroom management and behaviour support skills
* Valuable experience for those considering teaching or long-term school-based careers

Candidate Profile
* Patient, proactive, and adaptable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Confident supporting secondary-aged students
* Able to build positive xsngvjr relationships with staff and pupils
* Previous school or youth work experience is desirable but not essential
* A genuine passion for supporting young people in education
Salary & Benefits
* £100 – £115 per day
