The Electrical Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and delivering electrical designs for power solutions at customer sites, ensuring project requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
The successful Electrical Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer will ideally experience in a similar role and an electrical qualification.

Responsibilities:
Develop and produce complete electrical designs for power applications, including control panels, generator controllers, and electrical distribution systems.
Create and manage electrical schematics, adhering to CDM and BS7671 regulations.
Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to generate detailed design drawings and documentation.
Provide design and engineering support for both low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) applications.
Ensure compliance with national and international standards related to electrical power requirements.
Prepare design risk assessments, method statements, and necessary documentation.
Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT), along with on-site commissioning.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and provide practical solutions in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Experience in a similar role as an Electrical Design Engineer, Project Engineer (with design experience), Design Engineer or Electrical Engineer.
Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other CAD software.
A qualification in Electrical Engineering (ONC, HNC, HND, or Degree level) or equivalent experience.
Ability to commute to the site near Portsmouth
