Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is looking for a Maintenance Planning Engineer to support new business requirements on the E-7 Wedgetail Aircraft. We are responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK defence customers including new capabilities like the E-7 AEW&C and the P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, Autonomous Systems, C4ISR Services, Support for the Chinook & Apache Fleets, Logistic Information Services and Training Services and are very much in a growth phase. Responsibilities: As the Maintenance Planner, you'll ensure there's an effective and robust Aircraft Maintenance Programme for the E-7 aircraft fleet on behalf of the Mil CAM. In your role, you shall: Form part of ISTAR Air Wing Engineering (Lossiemouth) (IAWE (L)) Core Mil CAMO. Support the development and improvement of continuing airworthiness processes. Work collaboratively with the Mil CAMO Maintenance Manager. Reconcile maintenance plans to accommodate E-7 operational requirements Create and issue base maintenance and depth work packages and ensure parts and materials are scheduled. Coordinate operator recovery plans for operational disruptions and develop alternative maintenance plans under the direction of the Mil CAMO. Reconcile maintenance plans to accommodate E-7 operational requirements Aside from your technical work you there is the potential to support company initiatives, for example, quality improvements, promoting a safety culture, promoting Diversity and Inclusion, mentoring and coaching, STEM outreach and a number of focus projects to support the growth of the company and its employees.
