Your Duties will include:
1. Providing an efficient and effective Housekeeping service that meets the needs of residents and adheres to the high standards expected in the Care Home.
2. Leading the domestic team to ensure the Home is cleaned and maintained to a high standard according to Care Home guidelines and residents' individual needs.
3. Ensuring all areas of the home are cleaned to a high standard, and all linen and residents’ personal clothing/items are correctly laundered.
4. Maintaining confidentiality of residents’ personal information at all times, respecting their privacy, dignity, and choices.
5. Complying with statutory and legal requirements such as Health & Safety, COSHH, and the Health & Social Care Act to ensure a safe laundry service.
6. Checking that residents’ personal clothing and items are labelled, in good repair, and returned promptly after laundry.
7. Ensuring all equipment is in safe working order and reporting faults promptly.
8. Monitoring supplies of housekeeping items and informing management of shortages.
To be successful in this role you will need:
A minimum of 12 months experience in a Housekeeping Supervisory role is essential. Employment will be subject to pre-employment checks, including references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)/Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check.
