Digital Risk & Control is looking for a Senior Consultant - Risk and Control Partnering, Digital & AI to join the team, with a focus on emerging digital technology and Generative AI advancements in financial services and the digital industry.
As part of a high-performing risk team, you will support colleagues working on digital communication, delivering high-quality analysis to ensure safe digital experiences. Your role involves stakeholder engagement, report building & maintenance, challenging the status quo, and representing customer interests in a fast-paced digital environment.
We offer hybrid working arrangements, combining office presence with home working, based at our Swindon or London office. You may need to attend ad hoc meetings in the other location.

What you'll be doing
1. Partner with COO Digital, AI, Tech, and business stakeholders to stay informed on industry and societal changes affecting operational risk. Provide risk advice and support formal risk assessments and committee papers.
2. Collaborate across various risk and policy teams to identify, assess, manage, monitor, and review risks and controls related to digital products and services.
3. Show flexibility, work with momentum, deliver at pace, and challenge effectively to achieve the best outcomes.
4. Develop and enhance controls landscape, uplift existing controls, and monitor critical controls, providing reports to executive management.
5. Support loss event management, investigation, and reporting processes.
6. Navigate operational risk and control environments, collaborating with security, data, and technology teams to ensure fair outcomes for members.
7. Analyze horizon risk intelligence, monitor existing risks, evaluate emerging risks, and assess control effectiveness, reporting insights to leadership.
8. Assist in producing control declarations and participating in committees aligned with risk expectations.
9. Proactively analyze KRIs and testing results, working with the business to develop action plans.
About you
You should be pragmatic, collaborative, adaptable, and able to thrive in a changing environment. Minimum requirements include:
* Deep understanding of digital journeys and products within your organization.
* Experience with risk and control management techniques.
* Experience supporting change delivery.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders and contributing to risk assessments and reports.
* Data analysis experience with a focus on MI.
* Understanding of the regulatory environment affecting digital and technological developments in financial services, with some experience in tech transformation.
