Role and Responsibilities
* Driving a modern fleet of 26 tonne vehicles
* Liaise with the night team on site to complete all tasks.
* Comply with all site regulations
* Making sure all vehicles are ready and loaded for day shift.
* You will need to check all vehicles are weighed off at the site weighbridge.
* Be able to work to a time scale and have a hands on approach.
* Promptly report any incidents or accidents to the client
* Night work start times 20.00.
* Previous experience of a shunter role, also experience of using bulk tippers.
* All work is undertaken on clients yard so be okay with moving vehicles round also in and out of different vehicles during shift.
* Provide exceptional customer service
Your Qualifications
* Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence
* Possess a current CPC and Tacho Card.
* Have a maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence with no DR or DD offences
* Experience in driving bulk tipper vehicles preferred but not essential.
* Shunter experience preferred but not essential.
Working Hours and Pay
* Monday to Friday
* Flexiable start times and shift patterns
* Rates from £15.50 to £24ph, plus overtime on offer.
* Holiday pay on top of the hourly rate
