What you’ll work on
* Define and analyseairframe load cases(manoeuvre, gust, landing, propulsion, inertial)
* Performglobal and local FEAon wings, centre bodies, booms, mounts, and joints
* Conductstress, deflection, stiffness, and buckling analysis
* Carry outcomposite laminate and sandwich panel analysis
* Evaluatemargins of safety and reserve factors
* Supportfatigue, durability, and damage toleranceassessments (concept–preliminary level)
* Performmodal and vibration analysisto avoid resonance issues
* Supportthermal–structural effectsfrom motors, batteries, and environment
* Work closely with design, aero, performance, and systems teams to influence structure early
* Supportstructural optimisationfor weight vs strength
* Contribute totest correlation and design iteration
* Produceclear, review-ready analysis documentation
What we’re looking for
* Degree inAerospace / Mechanical Engineering(or similar)
* Strong fundamentals inaircraft structures
* Hands‑on experience withFEA tools(ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN, etc.)
* Understanding ofcomposite structures and lightweight design
* Comfortable working withCAD geometryand evolving designs
* Able to think beyond tools and applyengineering judgement
Nice to have
* Experience withUAVs or small aircraft
* Exposure tocomposites manufacturing or testing
* Experience working onearly-stage aerospace programmes
