We are looking for a Print Finisher to join our team in Redditch. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of print finishing tasks, ensuring high-quality output that meets customer specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in guillotining, hot foil stamping, perforating, punching, folding, spine taping, stapling, stitching, collating, and sheeting. You will play a key role in the final stages of production, ensuring that all printed materials are accurately finished and prepared for distribution.
The position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work with precision under tight deadlines, and proficiency in operating print finishing machinery. While knowledge of digital and lithographic printing is advantageous, it is not essential.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Operate guillotine, hot foil stamping, and other print finishing machinery
* Perform print finishing tasks such as perforating, punching, folding, spine taping, stapling, stitching, collating, and sheeting
* Ensure high-quality finishing on all printed materials, meeting company standards
* Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency
* Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of print finishing equipment
* Monitor quality control throughout the finishing process, identifying and resolving any issues
* Follow health and safety guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials
* Collaborate with the printing and production team to ensure smooth operations
* Maintain accurate records of job orders and machine maintenance
Requirements
* Previous experience in print finishing, including guillotining and hot foil stamping
* Proficiency in operating various print finishing machinery
* Strong attention to detail and quality control
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
* Flexibility to work a rolling shift pattern (AM and PM shifts)
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Knowledge of digital and lithographic printing (preferred but not essential)

Shift 2: Monday to Friday – 13:15 to 22:30
