Commercial Property Solicitor
Location: Sawston
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Experience Level: Senior - 10+ years PQE
Role Overview
You will be responsible for handling a broad range of commercial property matters, acting for both corporate and individual clients. The role offers excellent exposure to high-quality work, from acquisitions and disposals to lease negotiations and development projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising clients on the acquisition, sale, and refinancing of commercial property
* Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, and other property-related agreements
* Acting for landlords and tenants in lease negotiations, renewals, and terminations
* Assisting with property development work, including site assembly and planning agreements
* Managing title investigations, searches, and due diligence
* Liaising with clients, surveyors, lenders, and other stakeholders
* Keeping up to date with changes in property law and regulation
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 10+ years’ PQE in commercial property law
* Strong working knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions
* Confident managing a varied caseload independently and efficiently
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills
* Commercial awareness and a client-focused attitude
* A team player with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
