Emmanuel College has an exciting opportunity for an experienced safeguarding practitioner to join the leadership team as a non-teaching Designated Safeguarding Lead. The role involves providing exceptional care and support to students and families who are vulnerable or in need of support, and responding pro-actively to concerns when they arise.
Responsibilities / Requirements
* has experience of working with vulnerable children and young people in a school setting;
* is strongly self-motivated and personally resilient;
* has experience of handling safeguarding cases;
* has the ability to remain calm and focused in pressurised situations;
* has strong interpersonal skills;
* has experience of contributing to meetings with staff, students and agencies;
* has strong administrative skills.
