Role Overview
You will be part of a large clinical team, providing support to patients undergoing breast diagnostics at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire.
Shift pattern: Monday to Saturday, 08:30hrs to 16:30hrs and 09:00hrs to 17:00hrs.
Responsibilities
* Assist with patient care before, during and after imaging examinations.
* Clean scan rooms and maintain a tidy environment in line with Trust infection control standards.
* Perform stock control and replenishment, order supplies, and undertake stock checks.
* Support the specimen checking process and ensure biopsy specimens are taken to the collection point.
* Act as chaperone for clinical staff and support patients through procedures.
* Support the courier role in the community, delivering essential equipment to mobile screening units; a full UK driving licence is required.
* Conduct data entry under the guidance of clinical staff.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Full UK driving licence (international licence not accepted).
* Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team and independently, and use of initiative.
* Demonstrated interest in patient care, compassion, attention to detail, and maintenance of patient confidentiality.
* Compliance with Trust infection control standards.
* Proof of immunisation and vaccination report required.
* Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom; proof of right to work will be required.
* Completion of pre‑employment checks, including DBS (Standard or Enhanced) and other required checks.
