We're looking for a Finance Assistant to join our fast-growing team
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the finance function, whilst ensuring accurate records are kept.
You will be someone that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, with a hands-on attitude, who is a team player and always proactively suggests areas for change within the department.
Responsibilities:
* Processing Purchase & Sales Invoices
* Statement Reconciliations
* Credit Control (Minimal)
* Bank Reconciliations, including client accounts (experience with this advantageous)
* Prepayments & Accruals
* Fixed Asset Register
* Credit Card Statement Processing
* Debtors & Creditors Monitoring
* Accurate record keeping up to TB Level
* Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of the Management Accounts
* Sales – Cost Reconciliations
records
* Preparing Weekly Payment Runs
Requirements:
● Excellent communication skills
● Able to meet targets and deadlines
● Ability to work effectively under pressure
● Be able to work as part of a team
● Comply with Health and Safety requirements and legislation
● Maintain a positive working relationship with all members of staff
● Self-motivated
Nice to Have's:
* Previous Experience within a finance department
* Part qualified or qualified AAT desirable but will consider those without formal qualifications
(a study package is available for the right candidate)
* Intermediate Excel Skills
* Experience with Sage
