About the team: Are you looking for a role to support colleagues across the OSB Group by designing, delivering and continually improving our digital workplace services? As part of our transformation journeys, we are looking to accelerate the implementation of our standardised and scalable digital workplace services, enabling our colleagues to be productive from anywhere. This is a pivotal role in the End User Technology Team with a real opportunity to showcase your expertise and make a positive impact. This position can either be based in Wolverhampton or Chatham in Kent About us: The OSB Group is a FTSE 250 specialist mortgage lender, primarily focused on carefully selected segments of the mortgage market. What you will be doing: In this role, you would be expected to design our Digital Workplace approach, focussed on performance, resilience, security, and scalability, therefore you will need to understand how to manage an estate of devices and applications.The position holder will be entrusted to provide tailored solutions based on industry best-practice principals that ensure strong strategic positioning for future advancement and expansion of End User Technology (EUT) based upon of the Group's IT stakeholders' requirements.You will be the conduit between operational support, architecture, business change and 3rd party support teams, providing the enterprise level knowledge to support architectural designs in delivery to BAU. Your responsibilities will include… Interacting with business stakeholders and End User Experience (EUX) Service Manager to ensure the user experience remains fit for purpose as OSB Group growsDevelopment and delivery of technologies within the Group and new service introductionProviding technology roadmaps for the End User estate ensuring that it is fault tolerant and resilient by designResponsible for technical escalation across all EUT technologies during BAU and the warranty period of new services, including managing supplier relationships with 3rd partiesActs as End User Technology SME in relation to medium/large technical projects and complex work packages into business-as-usual operationsProactively identify opportunities to create and deliver robust business case proposals which improve reliability, stability, and efficiency in the EUT spaceTravel will be required between Chatham, Wolverhampton and London on a frequent basis In return for your commitment: We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £55,000 - £68,000 and a competitive benefits package including:Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 15%28 days annual leave plus bank holidaysContributory pension (8% employer 5% employee)Life Assurance (4x salary) plus Group Income ProtectionAccess to Private Medical Insurance and Medical Cash PlanAdditional benefits such as Hybrid working, Cycle Purchase scheme, Technology Purchase scheme, Season Ticket Loan, Holiday purchase / sell schemes, Employee Perk Portals, Payroll giving and Save as you Earn scheme Could you be the one?We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:Previous work experience including:Designing (HLD/LLD) and implementing new technology solutions for Workplace ServicesSoftware and hardware asset managementProducing option papers with emphasis on budget management, standardisation and end user experienceEUT monitoring, reporting and continuous service improvementStrong knowledge of MS Exchange Online and Office 365ITIL Foundation certification is essential We also believe that your career and how you progress is as unique as your individual personality.
