We’re working with a well-established engineering consultancy in Somerset who are looking to appoint a Graduate Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career within a supportive, forward-thinking environment where you’ll gain real project exposure from day one.
You’ll be involved in the design and analysis of structural elements across a variety of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. The role offers a great balance of hands-on design work and site exposure, giving you a well-rounded grounding in structural engineering.
This position is ideal for someone keen to develop quickly, work closely with experienced engineers, and progress towards chartership with full support.
🎯 What we’re looking for
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or closely related discipline)
Strong interest in building structures and design
Good understanding of core engineering principles
Some familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD (or similar)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
