What you’ll be doing
* Providing technical engineering support to mechanical engineering design activities for new and legacy products
* Developing conceptual designs for radar products, sub-systems and units
* Producing technical documentation in line with company guidelines
* Attending and contributing to design review discussions/meetings
* Engaging with different engineering disciplines and competencies within the local project and broader organization
* Undertaking continuous personal development to build skill, knowledge and competence in a range of business situations
* Supporting the development of other early careers engineers within the discipline
Your skills and experiences
* Essential: Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
* Full engineering lifecycle experience
* Defence, Marine or extreme environment engineering industry experience
* Broad understanding of mechanical engineering theory and technology with an interest in developing specialist experience in cooling systems, FE and CFD
