Your new role:
As a Guest Operations Specialist, you will deliver a warm and professional welcome to guests and crew, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience from arrival to departure. You will provide concierge-style support, arranging transport, catering, and accommodation, while handling enquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining excellent knowledge of services and the local area.
Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you will coordinate guest services and flight-related activities, ensuring all requests and amenities are delivered efficiently. You will also support administrative tasks such as processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and updating customer preferences to enhance service delivery.
You will also support airside operations, assisting with aircraft handling, operating ground service equipment, and maintaining clean, safe, and secure environments. A strong focus on teamwork, safety, and attention to detail is essential in this varied and fast-paced role.
You will demonstrate a willingness to learn how to carry out all ramp services required for the operation, as well as how to perform quality checks, bulk fuel vehicles with Jet A1 at the fuel yard, and deliver Jet A1/Avgas fuel to guests’ aircraft.
About You:
The important bits: You will be a minimum of 18 years of age with the ability to pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug and alcohol tests, meet airport background check requirements to receive and maintain an airport ID, and be insurable by the Company's applicable insurance policies. You must hold the right to work in the UK and have a full UK driving licence.
In addition: Although full training will be provided on all aspects of the role, you will ideally have proven experience within a related role – front-of-house or ramp side - either within Aviation Services or Hospitality. You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people, communicating clearly and professionally at all times. You’ll be adaptable and reliable, with good judgement and high standards of accuracy whilst supporting day-to-day operations. You’ll be comfortable working accurately under pressure in a fast-paced, operational environment, with the ability to stay calm, focused and organised when things get busy. You’ll be IT-literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Additional language skills would be an advantage.
