This is an exciting opportunity to gain both clinical and operational leadership experience across our Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) services via a three year secondment. We are proud to be the top performing trust in the 2022/23 National EIP audit, with all 5 early intervention teams achieving level 4 'top performing'. We provide timely access for those experiencing first episode psychosis and ensure the provision of high quality care for service-users and their families/ carers. There is an opportunity to provide both clinical and operational leadership across the EIP services, ensuring outstanding care delivery. You will be support by senior clinical and operational colleagues and be part of the secondary care pathway., As a senior highly specialist clinical lead with substantial senior clinical experience and post-qualification training, the post-holder will provide a high level of specialist expertise with complex and or challenging cases within the EIP Service. The clinical lead will provide a high quality service to patients referred within the EIT Service presenting with complexity and provide clinical leadership and expert advice across the full spectrum of EIP activities across the Pennine Care footprint. The Clinical Lead will work withmanagerial and clinical colleagues based within PCFT and represent PCFT nationally as required. The post holder will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and advice and presenting recommendations to the Community Service Managers, Associate Directors and the tier 2 triumvirate on the development of the service priorities.
