Engineering Manager – 24/7 FMCG Manufacturing Site, Leeds
We are looking for a strong Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function at a 24/7 FMCG manufacturing site in Leeds, driving reliability and performance. Join a global organisation with a strong reputation for innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage and develop a team of around 10 engineers in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
* Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement across all site assets.
* Drive reliability initiatives, including root cause analysis (RCA) and delivery of actions to meet key maintenance KPIs.
* Develop team capability through training, development, and addressing skill gaps.
* Ensure compliance with Quality and Health & Safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge and experience in the FMCG sector (print or continuous process experience advantageous).
* Strong leadership background with proven ability to lead and manage engineering teams effectively.
* Solid technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
* Excellent understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
