Were looking for a commercially minded Network Optimisation Manager to join our Network Design team in Bolton. This role plays a key part in shaping and improving Whistls logistics network by turning complex data into practical, cost-effective solutions. Youll lead optimisation projects end to end, working closely with operational and commercial teams to drive efficiency, performance, and strategic change across the network.
This is a hands-on, analytical role suited to someone who enjoys influencing decisions, working with large datasets, and delivering tangible improvements in a fast-moving logistics environment.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and deliver network optimisation and change initiatives aligned to business priorities
2. Analyse management information and modelled outputs to assess impact versus the current baseline
3. Manage optimisation projects from business case through to implementation
4. Optimise routes, depot timings, capacity, and workflow across the network
5. Support strategic decisions such as new locations or network reconfiguration
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with operational and commercial stakeholders
7. Use PowerBI and Paragon
