There is a trust of schools based in East Sussex that caters to pupils on the Autistic spectrum with complex needs, seeking an enthusiastic and competent Autism Support Worker. Consistency is key for success for young people with Autism; therefore, this role is 5 days a week throughout the academic year. (Part-time positions available in certain schools.)
This role includes:
* Supporting children with autism on a group and 1:1 basis.
* Assisting with classwork.
* Behavior management.
* Helping pupils with their daily routine.
* Creating an Education Healthcare Plan (EHCP).

The ideal candidate should have:
* Autism teaching assistant/support experience (minimum 1 year).
* Willingness to assist with personal care.
* An encouraging attitude and positive outlook.

All pay rates quoted will include statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent later.
