About the role Reporting directly to the Communications Lead, you will be responsible for managing and developing the Communications Team. As Communications Manager, you will manage the day-to-day communications activity and shape internal and external messaging. You will assist the Communications Lead with developing and delivering ILF Scotland's inclusive and values aligned communications and engagement strategy. You will mitigate reputational and political risk by supporting the Communications Lead in the delivery of quality strategies, workplans, products and materials ensuring exposure to a wide range of stakeholders. What we are looking for We are looking for a Communications Manager with significant experience in a Communications management role, ideally within a Public Body, local authority or Third Sector organisation with a focus on delivery. You'll bring an excellent track record of managing a team of communications professionals, managing PR and marketing campaigns, media engagement, and crisis communications. It is essential that you have knowledge or understanding of accessibility standards. The successful candidate will be degree-qualified in a communications related discipline.
