The Customer Service Technician at Curo brings together practical skill, customer focus and a commitment to maintaining high standards across our new homes. You play a vital part in ensuring defects are resolved promptly, customers feel supported and every repair meets our expectations for quality and safety. What you'll be doing Carry out a wide range of high quality repairs to new build properties, in liaison with the Customer Care team and clients, using multi trade skills. Act as a triage service for items reported. Ensure that all reported defects are dealt with in a cost effective, timely (within 28 day period) and professional manner to the satisfaction of the purchaser and at the direction of the Customer Service Manager. Embrace the Curo values ensuring the customer is at the forefront of our delivery and provide clear information in respect of the works. Accurately account for all materials used in carrying out repairs and maintain an adequate van stock at all times. Take care of all company property and equipment including vehicles in accordance with the relevant procedures and ensure that they are not exposed to negligence leading to theft or damage. Comply with the protective health and safety measures put in place by Curo; taking personal responsibility for my own health, safety and well-being at work and of any other person who may be affected by my actions or omissions at work. Ensure that any substances hazardous to health are used in accordance with COSHH assessments. Be confident in using IT equipment and mobile working devices. Demonstrate excellent and well developed trade skills in all of the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, wet trades, decorating, glazing and metal work. Have experience of working within a residential house builder. Demonstrate an ability to assess and make decisions for the benefit of the customer. Evidence an ability to self-motivate, be organised and be committed to delivery against clearly defined targets. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Show flexibility, reliability and punctuality and a willingness to learn and develop. Hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
