Role location and setting
Mountnessing Court at Billericay is a 22-bedded inpatient ward overlooking a central garden area with free parking facilities, situated in a pleasant local community close to local transport links.
We provide rehabilitation to older adults, improving service users’ functional skills with activities of daily living while promoting independence.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT places a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
Probationary period
This post will be subject to a probationary period.
Remuneration and benefits
High Cost Area Supplement - Fringe: This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £1,303 and a maximum payment of £2,198 per annum, pro rata for part time).
Requirements and expectations
If you are progressive and innovative, continually striving to improve your clinical practice, this is the position for you. Successful candidates will be forward-thinking OT with sound decision-making skills, effective clinical reasoning, and a wish to work as part of a supportive inpatient multidisciplinary team.
