The Vale Academy are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join our academy in November 2025 on a full time, permanent basis.

Your new role
As the Finance Manager, you will support the Head of Academy through the provision of financial support and information, directly or with the support of other members of the administration team. You will ensure the academy's financial management is sound and procedures are adhered to with relevant reports submitted to the central Delta finance department in accordance with deadlines.

Your new school
The Vale is a successful and high achieving 11 to 18 academy which has an excellent reputation and an established trend of high student outcomes, which are consistently above those achieved nationally. Indeed, 2023 outcomes placed the academy second in the local authority for overall progress which was "above" national average at +0.32 and its attainment at 4+ and 5+ in both English and Maths was 74% and 50% respectively. Provisional results for 2024 see this trend continuing with students' performance in English and Maths being significantly above national averages with 65% of students achieving a 5+ in both English and Mathematics.
The academy is situated in Brigg, North Lincolnshire and serves a largely rural community. Brigg itself is a historic market town on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Many of our students travel a considerable distance to school.
