"Has a great sense of humour and an infectious smile capable of brightening any day" - Lisa Speight (Current Assistant Locality Manager) About Person We Support: We support a mischievous gent in his 20s who thrives on daily adventures, lunch outings and recently discovered beach-buggying, which left him in fits of laughter. He has a learning disability, mobility issues, cerebral palsy & is non-verbal and we are supporting him to live in his own bungalow. You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress - full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is essential. An energetic support worker with a good initiative and a good sense of humour would be a wonderful match. What will I be doing? You will be supporting him to live his life how he chooses and empowering him to achieve his goals. This gentleman is looking for support with daily tasks such as his personal care, wheelchair assistance, medication, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
