About the Role
This position is suited to an experienced executive search researcher who enjoys high-quality delivery, rigorous research, and close collaboration with a client-facing Partner. You will support the end‑to‑end delivery of retained and interim executive search assignments, working across leadership and senior management roles, with a strong focus on HR, Commercial and Operations in manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
* Deliver executive research across retained and interim assignments
* Work with the Partner's to prepare client briefs, competency frameworks and advert copy
* Map target organisations and build longlists and talent pipelines
* Engage senior‑level candidates using telephone, LinkedIn, email and research tools
* Conduct structured candidate interviews and prepare written candidate summaries
* Engage in client-facing interactions alongside the Partner, contributing research insight, market intelligence, and candidate assessment updates
* Manage shortlisting against agreed competencies
* Coordinate interviews and manage feedback processes
* Maintain accurate candidate records within internal systems
* Provide market insight to support active searches and future opportunities
* Contribute to continuous improvement of research and delivery processes
Qualifications
This role requires prior experience within executive search or interim management.
Required Skills
* Experience working as a researcher in a retained search environment
* Confidence engaging with senior and executive‑level candidates
* Strong written skills, including candidate reporting
* The ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously

This role is not:
* An entry‑level research role
* A 360 recruitment or sales‑led position
* A fully remote role
Working Pattern
This is a hybrid role, requiring 2–3 days per week onsite in Hare Hatch, Berkshire. Candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance.
