Overview
As a QMS (Quality Management System) Engineer, you will be the driving force behind maintaining and improving our quality systems in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer:specific requirements. You'll work cross:functionally with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure products and processes consistently meet the demanding standards of the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
: QMS Development and Maintenance
: Manage and continually improve the Quality Management System in line with IATF 16949 and customer requirements.
: Lead document control, procedure updates, and system audits.
: Auditing and Compliance
: Plan and conduct internal audits; support customer and third:party audits.
: Ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented and sustained.
: Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis
: Facilitate structured problem:solving methodologies (8D, 5:Why, Ishikawa).
: Drive closure of non:conformances and lessons learned deployment.
: Cross:Functional Support
: Partner with engineering on APQP/PPAP documentation and launch readiness.
: Support supplier quality initiatives and incoming material controls.
: Continuous Improvement
: Promote lean and Six Sigma tools within the QMS framework.
: Identify gaps in system performance and propose improvements.
Qualifications
: Proven experience in a Tier One automotive environment.
: Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
: Certified internal auditor (IATF/ISO) preferred.
: Strong communication and facilitation skills; ability to influence across functions.
