We are looking for a skilled *Motor Technician* to join our friendly team. If you’re passionate about cars, have a keen eye for detail, and want to work in an environment that values expertise and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you!We work Monday to Friday and therefore there is no weekend working required*Responsibilities** *Vehicle Diagnostics:* Use cutting-edge diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.* *Repairs and Maintenance:* Carry out a wide range of repairs and routine maintenance tasks, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, exhaust systems, and more.* *Quality Assurance:* Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards, ensuring safety and reliability for our customers.* *Customer Service:* Provide clear explanations of issues and repairs to customers when required.* *Record Keeping:* Maintain accurate records of all work completed.* *Team Collaboration:* Work closely with the team and management to ensure smooth daily operations.*Essential Skills & Qualifications:** You will need to be a qualified Vehicle Technician with a formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification) with at least 3 years experience.* Proven experience working as a motor technician, ideally in a dealership or independent garage setting.* Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics.* Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Full UK driving license.*Desirable Skills:** Experience with hybrid/electric vehicles/training will be given* Knowledge of the latest diagnostic tools and technology.* Previous experience in customer-facing roles.*What we can offer you:** Competitive salary based on experience.* Ongoing training and professional development.* Friendly and supportive work environment.* Opportunities for career progression.* Company benefits package, including pension scheme and employee discounts on servicing* Company events where we have fun!Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:* Company events* Company pension* Cycle to work scheme* Employee discount* Free parking* On-site parkingExperience:* workshop: 3 years (required)Licence/Certification:* Driving Licence (required)Work Location: In person
