Vision for Education are currently recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a long term supply basis at Hob Moor Oaks Primary School.
This is a full time, term time only opportunity, ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a real difference in their education and development.
About the Role:
You will be supporting children aged 2–11 years with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). The role may involve:
1. Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils
2. Supporting children with physical disabilities and medical needs
3. Assisting with personal care where required
4. Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
5. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
About You:
We are looking for individuals who:
6. Have experience working with children or young people with SEN or
7. Come from a care background (e.g. support work, residential care, healthcare)
8. Are patient, empathetic, and resilient
9. Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
10. Are committed to supporting children’s individual needs and development
