Advanced Manufacturing (Sheffield) Limited (AML) is an advanced machining supplier focused on aerofoil and rotative components. We are at the leading edge of machining technologies and are dedicated to delivering efficiency and reduced cycle times for our clients in the aerospace sector. Our advanced milling, turning and 5-axis capacity enables us to machine a wide range of products including bespoke ring, casing, gearbox, aerofoil and aerostructure components. To-Date, we have manufactured components for Rolls-Royce, Boeing, Siemens, Bombardier and are looking to expand out Machining capabilities over the coming year.
The Position
* Evaluate parts dimensionally and visually for conformance to customer specifications
* Use of manual measuring equipment, Verniers, Internal / External micrometres, thread gauges, plug gauges etc
* Understanding of dimensional drawings
* Loading and unloading parts onto CMM
* Assessing CMM data against drawing requirements
* Experience using Mitutoyo or Renishaw CMMs
* Carry out visual inspections of parts
* Support None Conforming Report investigations including containment and preventative actions
* Support other activities within the Quality Team
* Ensure a safe and healthy working environment by following proper ergonomics, safety equipment use, and hygiene practices.
* Promote environmentally friendly practices and sustainability initiatives within the workplace, and complete mandatory ESH-related training and certifications.

* Highly motivated individual.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Minimum of 2 years Quality related experience.
* Ability to manage own time and workload effectively.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Ability to work shifts (Week1: 6:00am- 2:00pm Monday- Friday)
* (Week2: 1:30pm-10:00pm Monday- Thursday 1:30pm- 7:30pm Friday)
